Guides
Short, practical walkthroughs. Each one is the shortest path to a working result.
Receiving your first code
- Add funds. Open Wallet and create a deposit. Payment is in cryptocurrency; your balance updates once the network confirms it.
- Choose the service. On Buy a number, pick the service you need a code for. Search if it is not among the popular tiles.
- Choose the country. You will see live stock and the exact price for each. Cheapest is not always best — a country with deep stock is likelier to deliver.
- Confirm. The number is issued straight away and the twenty-minute window starts.
- Use it. Enter the number in the service you are registering with and request the code. It appears on the order screen by itself.
Request the code promptly. The window is twenty minutes from issue, not from when you get around to using it. Have the other service's signup form already open.
When a code does not arrive
First, check you entered the number in full, including the country dialling code, and that you actually pressed send code on the other service.
If it still has not arrived, you have three options:
- Wait. If you do nothing, the window closes and you are refunded in full, automatically.
- Cancel. Ends the order early and refunds you now, so you can try another country without waiting out the clock.
- Ban. Refunds you and makes sure that number is never issued to you again. Use this when the number is clearly burnt.
Choosing a country that works
Some services silently reject numbers from particular countries, and no reseller can change that. If a country fails twice for the same service, it is usually the service blocking that range rather than bad luck — switch country rather than retrying.
Stock is the most useful signal on the pricing page. A route with deep stock is being actively replenished; a route down to a handful of numbers often is not.
Using the API
The API mirrors the website exactly — same catalogue, same prices, same refund rules — so anything you can do by hand you can automate. Create a key in the API screen, then:
GET /api/v1/servicesto list what can be bought.GET /api/v1/services/{service}/countriesfor prices and stock.POST /api/v1/ordersto buy a number.- Poll
GET /api/v1/orders/{id}until the code appears, or the order expires and refunds itself.
Full details, including rate limits and error codes, are in the API reference.
Treat your API key like a password. It can spend your balance. Keep it server-side, never in a mobile app or front-end bundle, and rotate it if it leaks.
Keeping costs down
- Cancel early rather than waiting out a window you already know has failed — it frees you to try a route that works.
- Compare countries on the pricing page before buying; the spread between the cheapest and dearest route for the same service is often several times over.
- Ban burnt numbers. It costs nothing and stops you paying twice for the same dead number.
